Energy
These projects look at how to support transition to net zero with(in) the energy sector. For example, we look at barriers to renewable energy adoption and systemic change (policy, business models, etc.) required to support the transition.
Transport
These projects look at how we can decarbonise passenger transport and freight aligning with the net zero ambitions. For example, we look at how organisations and individuals can make more sustainable choices with the help of gaming.
Health & Wellbeing
In these projects we look at how to improve public health and healthcare systems by looking at health as a wider system. We use behavioural intervention to improve health outcomes and employ games to engage with wider stakeholders and design better solutions.
Organisational Performance
In these projects we look at how to use gaming to help organisations improve their performance, learn and develop and make better decisions about the future. We are also interested in how we can help organisations make better use of big data and analytics.
Climate & Disaster Resilience
These projects look at how we can use gaming to help communities become more prepared and resilient to future uncertainty and impacts of climate change and natural disasters. We are also interested in co-design with communities of sustainable solutions.
Biodiversity
These projects focus on raising awareness about biodiversity, engaging people in conservation efforts and helping develop better policies that account for biodiversity value, with the help of games.
Consumer Behaviour
In these projects we look at how to better understand and influence consumer behaviour, e.g., in sustainable fashion, food, etc.
Tourism
In these projects we look at how tourism interacts with different systems and different communities, and seek to understand these impacts and how tourism can become more sustainable, using gaming.
Economic Development
These projects focus on community livelihoods and sustainable economic development at the local and regional level, and how gaming can be used to make better decisions help develop better policies that support economic development.
Food Systems
These projects focus on raising awareness about biodiversity, engaging people in conservation efforts and helping develop better policies that account for biodiversity value, with the help of games.
