These projects look at how we can use gaming to help communities become more prepared and resilient to future uncertainty and impacts of climate change and natural disasters. We are also interested in co-design with communities of sustainable solutions.

This project aims to develop capacity, knowledge and consensus for decision making and action amongst multiple stakeholders for mitigating coastal erosion and flood risk using mangroves in Suriname and Guyana.
The project focused on the design of a gamified approach to citizen engagement in policy making in order to facilitate public consultations with the aim to gather views on and prioritise policies from the citizens. This approach is combined with Natural Language Processing to facilitate analysis of the results.
